Today I went on a hike and afterwards, made tuna sandwiches for lunch. So today's "waste" included 2 tuna cans and compostable food waste. Also, I went grocery shopping today after classes at New Frontiers. They have an extensive bulk section so every single item I bought was a bulk item which means zero waste from packaging. Huzzah! I bought grains, granolas, raisins, soy milk mix, falafel mix, lentil soup mix, hummus mix, peanut butter, & more. I used plastic bags from last time to hold the goods. And I'm saving the tags with the numbers on them so when I buy the same item when I run out, I don't have to use another twisty tag!
