Day 60

Today is the 60th day of my 1 Year, 0 Waste project. Being zero waste has began to really become ingrained in my mind as something that requires not much time, no extra money, but a conscious effort. It can be difficult to walk down the grocery store aisles with lots of delicious foods to buy, but their packaging is horribly unusable.

I went shopping today and purchased all loose leaf fruits and veggies and foods contained in glass jars. I am still looking forward to exploring more food options within San Luis that I can utilize in a zero waste fashion as well.

Today's "waste" included 1 small cardboard box, 4 receipts, and a plastic seal. Today I also conserved some electricity by hang drying my clothes:
